FRIDAY APRIL 25

7-8:30pm - Musicality in Tango: A Dialogue Between Roles

This workshop invites tango dancers of all levels to deepen their understanding and expression of musicality.

We will focus on actively listening to the music, analyzing the different instruments, rhythms, and melodies that make up each piece. We will explore how the roles of leader and follower can interpret and respond to music individually and together, creating a harmonious and exciting dialogue.

SATURDAY APRIL 26

2-3:30pm - Navigating the Dance Floor: Linear and Circular Alterations in Tango

This workshop focuses on providing dancers with practical tools to navigate the dance floor with fluidity, especially when it is crowded. We will learn sequences of linear and circular movements that allow us to change front and direction elegantly and efficiently, avoiding collisions and making the most of the available space. We will explore techniques to adapt the steps to different situations and levels of congestion, fostering connection with the partner and musicality at all times.

SATURDAY APRIL 26

4-5:50pm - Symmetry in Tango: Sacadas and Barrida

Delve into the concept of symmetry in tango and its application in movements such as sacadas and barridas. Explore how symmetry enhances the balance and harmony of your dance.
